About Us
Step One is a 501[c][3] non-profit corporation. We have been in operation since January of 2000. Our mission is to introduce a twelve -step based program to a newly sober individual in a clean, safe  environment.
  People rarely quit abusing drugs and alcohol without getting the proper care and support.  Furthermore, many people can not afford to go into a rehab facility and this is where we come in to help. Step One offers a ninety day treatment program that requires clients to agree to get a twelve -step sponsor and attend one Twelve Step meeting daily. Step One has AA, CA, CMA, NA meetings at our main property. Clients must also be willing to get a home group and a service commitment. All of our staff members are recovered addicts and alcoholics and we are more than willing to teach new clients about how the program works.

For all people interested in becoming clients at Step One Inc Recovery Housing, please be aware of what you will need upon intake:
  • 2 forms of I.D. (Social Security Card, State Issued I.D. Card, Birth Certificate.)
  • If unemployed, we do offer a great volunteer program to help with your needs!  
  • We also request that you keep personal items to a 2 bag limit, as we have a number of clients, and wish to be fair with the amount of space in the rooms.
  • We do not accept sex offenders and arsonists
  • At this time, we are not able to accept individuals that are currently on parole.
  • Our Client fees are $25.00 per day or $175.00 per week
