Re: Letter From Director's Desk
After three years of success as a staff member in different capacities, I have been offered and have accepted the title of Executive Director of Step One Inc. I have been at Step One since October of 2017 and have many accomplishments in sobriety and as a member of the staff team which will further assist me in continuing Step One's greatest achievement; sober housing and recovery for those who seek it.
Since becoming staff, I have assisted, sponsored and mentored many clients. Helping other Alcoholics and Addicts guide themselves through sober living is one of the greatest and fulfilling feelings. Now at an organizational level, I plan to truly evaluate and maximize the impact Step One can do for others in recovery. With greater refining plans and goals I plan to help individuals on a more of a personal level as well as a community.
The staff members I have chosen, plan to set and achieve beneficial and effective goals for Step One. All staff member are essential to the growth and overall success of Step One's mission. The following senior staff members know their responsibilities and plan to help Step One in an immense way:
Joey B. - Assistant Director
Todd O. - iHost and Logistics Director
Robert M. - Grant Coordinator/Community Outreach
Lucian J. - Sr. House Manager
All suggestions from clients and fellow staff are truly welcomed and are appreciated. Everyone's contributions is what makes Step One's Mission Statement possible.
Step One's Mission Statement reads as follows: "To help fellow Alcoholics and Addicts find recovery and learn to accept life on life's terms by offering support through safe and sober housing and the principles of the 12-steps."
Respectfully,
Shelby Lee
Executive Director
Step One Inc.
We offer well qualified Staff!
All of our staff are recovered addicts and alcoholics. Not only do they take the time to meet the needs of the individual, they have all walked through the gates of Step One Inc. feeling lost and alone. They all have one thing in common, though. They have found a new home, a new hope and new sense of purpose here. Our Staff is fully qualified to be of service to others struggling with addiction and alcoholism because they have all fought the same battle you are fighting right now and while at Step One Inc. they have not only found the strength to overcome the power of addiction but also found that you don't have to do it alone ever again.
